Ahh!  We're going to be eaten by the big bad wolf!  This sounds familiar, like The Three Little Pigs, but only this is The Three Swingin' Pigs by the author named Vicky Rubin and illustrator named Rhode Montijo. The pigs were scared of the big bad wolf because he always ruins fairy tales.  The big bad wolf also had real bad breath.  They gave the wolf a breath mint and they soon became friends with the big bad wolf.  If you like The Three Little Pigs, then you will be sure to like The Three Swingin' Pigs.  It is also like the gingerbread man because they are running, so they won't be eaten.  Therefore, if you like books that are fractured fairy tales , then you should read The Three Swingin' Pigs.  We recommend this book to kindergartners and first graders.  Be sure to notice the beautiful pictures too.  The pictures are filled with a rainbow of brilliant colors, but don't take our word for it, check this book out for yourself!
